I’m looking for an inexpensive (no more than $30) flat iron. Just something to get the job done but does a good job, steam isn’t an issue. I know Conair is under $30…but CHI? and Hot Tools? I don’t live with my parents and they don’t give me money for shopping, sorry.

I’ve tried lots of other brands, but none of them seem to get the job done quite like my CHI. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the difference is between the CHI and other brands? Jon Shotter, I agree. I don’t think it is the heat either. I had a infiniti by conair, which heats up to 400 degrees. It got my hair really straight, but it didn’t get it as smooth and silky as the CHI.
